Whatever you do, do it for the Lord…

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord. Colossians 3:23-24 (KJV)

~ These scriptures make you stop and think for a moment. Examine it carefully… “Whatsoever” you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord. That means anything. If you are at work, work as if your boss is the Lord. Work hard for Him, show up on time, be respectful to others, don’t steal things; Aim to please Him because truly He is your boss. He observes what you do and sees the intent of your heart. That is deeper than what your earthly boss sees. He only sees your natural work and when you are actually producing something with your hands.

Beloved, you have a boss that you can’t see. Don’t try to please men because it can be a snare. You serve the Lord. If He gave you talent to sing, then sing as if you are singing to the Lord. If He blessed you with intelligence and it produces great finances, remember it was God who gave you that ability. Use it wisely and remember that wealth can advance the Kingdom. If He gave you a desire to teach children then teach them well. Remember who you are truly serving!

You are blessed coming in and going out and whatever your hands touch is blessed too!
